Highly competent and compassionate nurses are drawn to the Northwest Territories. Our nurses work in an expanded role within the Northwest Territories integrated primary health care system, working as community health nurses, public health nurses, home care nurses, and hospital nurses.

Work settings vary from remote community health centres to public health units and secondary and tertiary hospitals. Local and regional health and social services authorities employ most nurses.
